Hiring Our Heroes

U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes foundation connects the military community—service members, military spouses, and veterans—with American businesses to create economic opportunity and a strong and diversified workforce. Hiring Our Heroes hosts a variety of free workshops, targeted industry job fairs, and military base career summits.

Off-Base Transition Training

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Off-Base Transition Training workshops are available to all veterans, including National Guard and Reserve Members, and their spouses. Learn how to market yourself, negotiate salary, navigate LinkedIn, apply for federal opportunities, and much more in pursuit of your employment goals, all for free.

USO Pathfinder® Transition Program

The USO Pathfinder® Transition Program extends the USO experience to active duty, Reserve, National Guard, and military spouses by offering professional development services throughout the duration of military service, as well as in preparation for life post-military. The Pathfinder® program hosts workshops and career-related events across a variety of topics.

Hire Heroes USA

Hire Heroes USA provides free job search assistance to U.S. military members, veterans, and their spouses. The organization provides an assortment of job search workshops, employer spotlights, and virtual career fairs to help you succeed.

Corporate Gray

Corporate Gray links employers with transitioning and former military personnel through its military-to-civilian career transition books and military-friendly job fairs nationwide. Corporate Gray events are targeted especially for transitioning service members and military veterans of all rank and branches of service. Civilians are welcome. All job seekers attend for free.

Military OneSource Spouse Education and Career Opportunities

The Department of Defense Military OneSource Spouse Education and Career Opportunities was created specifically for military spouses, to connect them with tools and resources, including education and training help, career coaching and exploration, career connections, and much more.

Military Officers Association of America

Military Officers Association of America is the nation's largest and most influential association of military officers. It offers many free employment workshops and job fairs with military-friendly and veteran-ready companies looking for former military officers, transitioning service members, military veterans, and military spouses.

Disabled American Veterans and Recruit Military

Disabled American Veterans and Recruit Military partner to offer in-person and virtual career fairs nationwide. These recruiting events are open to all U.S. military, veterans, and their spouses seeking new careers with military-friendly companies.

American Legion

The American Legion provides military community job seekers from around the globe the opportunity to meet, network, and interview with employers at their career fairs.

Paralyzed Veterans of America Veterans

The Paralyzed Veterans of America Veterans Career Live program provides easy access to timely, relevant career information on your schedule and from any device. The organization offers a free library of recorded and live seminars on a range of career topics for veterans.

Veteran Recruiting

The Veteran Recruiting Veteran Recruitment Center connects service members, veterans, and spouses with recruiters anytime and anywhere. Virtual and in-person events offer a wide array of opportunities, including work-from-home hiring fairs.

ClearanceJobs events include companies recruiting in technology, engineering, aerospace, logistics, program management, intelligence, finance, contract management, supply chain, and more.
