Re-employment Services

Are you unemployed & receiving unemployment benefits?

If so, you may be selected to receive additional support during your job search.

The Re-employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program is a federal grant program designed to allow states to provide intensive re-employment assistance to individuals who are receiving unemployment benefits and are determined likely to exhaust their benefits before becoming re-employed.
Participants will

  • View an online introduction video that explains the program.
  • Complete an Unemployment Insurance (UI) eligibility review.
  • Attend a meeting (in person or by phone) to discuss individual re-employment needs and learn about re-employment services, resources, and training (if needed), available through an OhioMeansJobs center.
  • Receive customized personal labor market and career information, including information about in-demand occupations.
  • Receive a personalized Individualized Opportunity Plan that identifies re-employment goals and the combination of services needed to reach these goals.
  • Receive a follow-up phone call to discuss progress made in reaching individual re-employment goals.
